Quick Look: Museum Matrimony

The Bridal Party's Museum Matrimony couple joined their lives on August 27th at The Newark Museum, the largest museum in the state of New Jersey.  We'd worked with the bride for over a year on this elegant gathering and were thrilled to help create a memorable event amongst tremendous displays of culture, including 80 spectacular galleries of world-class collections and art .  An intimate number of 100 traveled to witness the bride and groom exchange vows and enjoy a relaxing dinner afterward.  And though the tri-state area was cautiously bracing for the arrival of Hurricane Irene within a matter of hours, we're happy to report the wedding was a beautiful success. We hope to share professional photos soon, but are happy to share a few impromptu snapshots below: - - - - - - - - - - by Rashana Anderson Founder & Managing Director, THE BRIDAL PARTY

Quick Look: Purple Candlelight

The Bridal Party's Purple Candlelight couple was married last Friday at the First Presbyterian Church of Englewood and later partied the night away at The Rockleigh , near the New York / New Jersey state line.  We first met the bride and groom close to two years ago, so we were thrilled to ensure every detail was executed successfully. We will share professional photographs soon, but take a quick look at a few amateur shots below: - - - - - - - - - - by Rashana Anderson Founder & Managing Director, THE BRIDAL PARTY

Congratulations, Jenn & Phil!

One of our own, Jennifer Salyga, was married on July 9th in what most would call a most "spectacular" way.  Jenn, an Assistant Bridal Consultant with THE BRIDAL PARTY, joined our team in 2010 while planning her union to the love of her life, Phil.  Their wedding was extraordinarily beautiful, stylish and beach chic . Both the ceremony and reception were held at Avenue in Long Branch, New Jersey, which served as a beautiful backdrop to the beginning of Jenn's new life as a married woman.  Every aspect of this coral and green celebration was perfectly elegant and tasteful.  Jenn even treated her guests to a mini Sweets Sideboard (candy buffet)! We are proud to have Jenn as a member of our team and so glad to share some of the most beautiful moments of Jenn and Phil's wedding day below, thanks to Sarah Postma Photography : - - - - - - - - - - - by Rashana Anderson Founder & Managing Director, THE

Shirely & Jason: Saree-Style Soirée (Part 2)

For the first time, this wedding season, we brought a student photographer onto our team.  Her name is Lena Hill.  Lena has such a creative eye and she is dedicated to meticulously honing her skills as a photographer, so some of our clients have been treated to having her shoot their weddings as a generous PLUS.  Our Saree-Style Soirée is an example of how Lena demonstrates her commitment to capturing beautiful wedding moments.  We shared the first batch of professional photos from Shirley and Jason's wedding last month.  Now, we're happy to present a few of Lena's best shots.  Enjoy! Stay tuned for more of Lena's work, as we share photography for future events. - - - - - - - - - - - by Rashana Anderson Founder & Managing Director, THE BRIDAL PARTY

Random Relay: July 2011

We're smack-dab in the thick of wedding season and are having a ball!  Here's our random relay of spontaneous pics from the month of July 2011 ... just random snapshots and inspirations I thought would be fun to share with our readers, but with a huge change.  I've officially abandoned the world of BlackBerry and have entered the realm of the iPhone!  So, with an enhanced zoom and higher mega-pixel count, here's a quick glimpse into my mind: "July's heatwave had the leaves already falling" "Yes ladies & gentlemen ... that is indeed Macaroni & Cheese Pizza!  There's nothing like the Jersey Shore" "... met a young doe during an afternoon walk" "Gotta love New York City.  Ha ha!" (borrowed from a friend) "Dawn is beautiful, but there's just something about Sunsets" "My twins are already shooting for higher heights" - - - - - - - - - - by Rashana Anderso
