An Early Letter to Santa

Dear Santa,
I trust you're enjoying yourself, winding down and relaxing in Kuau'i after the bustling holiday season we had.  And while reading another letter is likely one of the last things you'd be interested in doing, I just had to get this one in extra early (because it's gonna take some work).

You know we at THE BRIDAL PARTY are committed to giving our brides, grooms and clients our utmost attention, our creativity and sincere dedication in ensuring their event is executed flawlessly.  You probably also know most brides are always very concerned about their attire - gown, veil, and of course, shoes.  Thus, many of our brides chose a swanky pair of Christian Louboutins to walk down the aisle in, and they make sure their photographer gets the perfect photo-journalistic shot of the red-bottoms.  BUT ... what if their Christian Louboutins could be their "something blue?"  That's right, blue-bottoms!  What could be better?  Herein lies my request: Please convince Mr. Louboutin to resume his one time collection of Tiffany blue soles (see photo attached)I'd love for my brides to have them for the happiest day of their lives.  And just one more run of those beauties would make brides everywhere that much happier.

Thanks In Advance,
Rashana Anderson

P.S.  Can't wait to get started on your vow renewal / 2nd wedding with Mrs. Claus.  Thanks again for choosing us!

Wow, limited edition Tiffany blue soles! Brides will be tripping all over themselves to get at these "something blue" lovelies!

"Farm Sweet Farm" 1st Birthday Party

My husband and I celebrated our baby twins, Jonah & Gia's, 1st birthday with a "Farm Sweet Farm" party last weekend.  The party was held at our home (aka The Anderson Farm) and our closest family and friends excitedly attended.  Honestly it's still difficult for us to believe a full year has gone by since they entered our lives, but one thing was clear from the beginning --- we had a lot to celebrate and we intended to do just that!

Everyone had loads of fun; they would've partied until the cows came home if we let them.  And since the guests of honor LOVE animals, the theme proved to be absolutely perfect for them and their guests.  To most, I'm known for planning amazing weddings and bridal celebrations by means of THE BRIDAL PARTY, so it was really a lot of fun to step outside of my comfort zone and show off my versatility and range.  I can't deny, this was FUN!  I'm still quite "giddy" about it all.

Aidan & Jonathan: Enchanted Forest

We shared snapshots of our Enchanted Forestwedding just four days ago and somehow, SOMEWAY, professional photos became available last night!  (an unbelievable world record ... calling Guinness after the holiday)

As mentioned before, we were brought on to plan and execute this wedding just 3 months out, at which time 90% of the vendors and service providers had not been selected.  But I must say, we couldn't have had a better team of professionals bring this event to life if we'd started a year ago.

The ceremony was held in the evening on the outdoor patio of Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren, NJ.  On this brisk mid-November night, our teams successfully achieved a loving and warm ambiance by having clear tent wall covered by swags of 21-foot long fabric hung on the outer perimeter of the space.  This treatment allowed for the bride's dream of being married near nature but also kept the couple's beloved friends and family comfortable.  A blooming birch-branch …

Lola & Lekan: Golden Gala

We shared snapshots of our Golden Gala wedding last month, but now professional photos are in!

This season we've been extremely blessed with virtually perfect weather, and for this event it was no different.  A traditional Nigerian ceremony was held the day before, featuring a host of absolutely stunning elements of the bride and groom's African culture.  The traditional American ceremony, the next day, was held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Englewood followed by a really fun-loving reception at The Royal Manor in Garfield.  Almost 500 of the couple's family and friends partied into the night, enjoying a gorgeous mix of Nigerian and American culture ... plus our romantically designed "Sweets Sideboard" that followed their white, ivory and gold color scheme was a huge hit!

It was such a pleasure working with Lola and her family, which is why we couldn't wait to share some of the best moments of the beginning of her new life with Lekan below, tha…
