An Early Letter to Santa

Dear Santa,
I trust you're enjoying yourself, winding down and relaxing in Kuau'i after the bustling holiday season we had. And while reading another letter is likely one of the last things you'd be interested in doing, I just had to get this one in extra early (because it's gonna take some work).

You know we at THE BRIDAL PARTY are committed to giving our brides, grooms and clients our utmost attention, our creativity and sincere dedication in ensuring their event is executed flawlessly. You probably also know most brides are always very concerned about their attire - gown, veil, and of course, shoes. Thus, many of our brides chose a swanky pair of Christian Louboutins to walk down the aisle in, and they make sure their photographer gets the perfect photo-journalistic shot of the red-bottoms. BUT ... what if their Christian Louboutins could be their "something blue?" That's right, blue-bottoms! What could be better? Herein lies my request: Please convince Mr. Louboutin to resume his one time collection of Tiffany blue soles (see photo attached). I'd love for my brides to have them for the happiest day of their lives. And just one more run of those beauties would make brides everywhere that much happier.

scam (skām): A fraudulent business scheme

Y esterday, I received my first wedding scam attempt (guess my latest marketing and advertising efforts are starting to work). I received an email from an "Irish" bride-to-be whose fiance was offered a job in the U.S. and needed help planning a small wedding in New Jersey. I vaguely remembered hearing of certain swindle attempts on wedding vendors (especially photographers and videographers), so my radar peaked immediately, however, I didn't jump to any conclusions right away. I responded to the email, drew up a preliminary proposal, quoted cost of service and submitted an invoice for payment. Nonetheless, when it became apparent that the bride-to-be and her French fiance only intended on mailing a cashier's check, I knew right away what I was dealing with ... a scam! "Farm Sweet Farm" 1st Birthday Party

My husband and I celebrated our baby twins, Jonah & Gia's, 1st birthday with a "Farm Sweet Farm" party last weekend. The party was held at our home (aka The Anderson Farm ) and our closest family and friends excitedly attended. Lorraine & Alim: Glamour & Grace

At the close of summer, another of our lovely couples, Lorraine and Alim, tied the knot at The Fox Hollow in Woodbury, New York. I first met the bride during an appearance of mine on The Wendy Williams Show seven years ago. She was a producer on that show at the time, but is now Vice President of Programming for True Entertainment and Executive Producer of Bravo's hit " The Real Housewives of Atlanta ."
