From "Project Runway" to "Project White Aisle"

Is it possible you're as big a fan of Project Runway as I am? If you're just as in love with this American reality TV show that focuses on fashion design, you're probably familiar with last year's contestant, Carol Hannah Whitfield. Carol Hannah was by far my favorite designer and I'm thrilled to have learned not only is she living in New York City and still designing, but she recently previewed her own wedding collection.

With a fine selection of gowns for brides and bridesmaids alike, Carol Hannah has brought the same sophistication, construction, whimsy and femininity to this debut offering. These gowns and dresses are just lovely. And I'm excited to share a few of her creations with you below:

Carol Hannah's full collection will be presented on March 20th in Charleston, South Carolina and mid-April in New York City.

scam (skām): A fraudulent business scheme

Y esterday, I received my first wedding scam attempt (guess my latest marketing and advertising efforts are starting to work). I received an email from an "Irish" bride-to-be whose fiance was offered a job in the U.S. and needed help planning a small wedding in New Jersey. I vaguely remembered hearing of certain swindle attempts on wedding vendors (especially photographers and videographers), so my radar peaked immediately, however, I didn't jump to any conclusions right away. I responded to the email, drew up a preliminary proposal, quoted cost of service and submitted an invoice for payment. Nonetheless, when it became apparent that the bride-to-be and her French fiance only intended on mailing a cashier's check, I knew right away what I was dealing with ... a scam! "Farm Sweet Farm" 1st Birthday Party

My husband and I celebrated our baby twins, Jonah & Gia's, 1st birthday with a "Farm Sweet Farm" party last weekend. The party was held at our home (aka The Anderson Farm ) and our closest family and friends excitedly attended. I was strolling through Sephora over the weekend and stumbled upon a great find!
