Erinn & Joseph: Classic Love

We shared snapshots of our Classic Love wedding earlier this month and professional photos are in!

To put it plainly, it was a gorgeous day for a gorgeous wedding. The lovely ceremony was held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in South Orange followed by an over-the-top reception at none other than the One and Only Westmount Country Club in West Patterson. On this, the last day of April, guests were treated to a swirl of details centered around the couple's purple, chartreuse and lilac theme. Big hits were the specialty martinis, the awesome live band, luxury chocolate truffles and miniature bottles of wine (favors), in addition to hand rolled cigars and carnival-style grilled hot dogs, sliders, onion rings and fries to close out the night. This wedding proved to be an unforgettable event.

Overall, it was wonderful working with Erinn and her family, which is why we're thrilled to share a few of the best moments of the wedding below, thanks to Milton Gil Photographers.

P.S. I was all the more tickled to find out the groom is a fellow Pittsburgh Steelers fan. And, of course his terrible towel went along for the ride.

scam (skām): A fraudulent business scheme

Y esterday, I received my first wedding scam attempt (guess my latest marketing and advertising efforts are starting to work). I received an email from an "Irish" bride-to-be whose fiance was offered a job in the U.S. and needed help planning a small wedding in New Jersey. I vaguely remembered hearing of certain swindle attempts on wedding vendors (especially photographers and videographers), so my radar peaked immediately, however, I didn't jump to any conclusions right away. I responded to the email, drew up a preliminary proposal, quoted cost of service and submitted an invoice for payment. Nonetheless, when it became apparent that the bride-to-be and her French fiance only intended on mailing a cashier's check, I knew right away what I was dealing with ... a scam! I happen to know that international cashier's checks are not fully validated for 90 days. So even though the check may clear at first, if found to be phony, the money is later deducted. "Farm Sweet Farm" 1st Birthday Party

My husband and I celebrated our baby twins, Jonah & Gia's, 1st birthday with a "Farm Sweet Farm" party last weekend. The party was held at our home (aka The Anderson Farm ) and our closest family and friends excitedly attended.
